Volunteers needed for Board!

Delaney Park Little League strives to provide a healthy environment in which the youth of our community can play Baseball and Softball. We strive to provide quality instruction in the development of baseball/softball skills and instill the qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, loyalty, integrity, competitiveness, fair play and community pride.

Why are we looking for new Board members?

Delaney Park Little League must maintain a strong Board of Directors. We are looking for Board Members that are interested in making decisions that further the Mission of the Delaney Park Little League and for Board Members whose primary objective is for the positive benefit of Delaney Park Little League organization as a whole.

Each year, new members are needed to replace the “aging out” Board Members (who take years of experience with them). We have an ongoing need to recruit new Board members from both Baseball and Softball, as parents from these divisions will be the future Leaders of Delaney Park Little League.

Maintaining an adequate number of active Board members will allow each Board Member to fulfill 100% of their assigned duties and responsibilities. Doing so will prevent mistakes, problems and issues that to correct, drain energy, time and resources from our mission of supplying our youth with a quality Little League experience.

Are you are interested in becoming a Board Member?

If you are hesitant to join the Board, a great way to join is to attend our Board meetings essentially observing how Delaney Park Little League operates. You can also speak to an existing Board Member as well.

If you are interested in helping run the League, please email your name, address and phone number to [email protected] and indicate that you are interested in joining the Delaney Park Little League Board of Directors.
